Easter Goodness~ Take One

My heart poured out this weekend.....
In gratitude, in thankfulness and in tremendous tenderness of spirit.

As I watched my oldest daughter and my youngest daughter together this weekend. It was if it never was ~the years between them. Eighteen to be exact. I was reminded how love knows no age. It has no address. It has no limits.  It is no respecter of persons.
Love just happens.....

 There isn't anything more rewarding as a parent than to watch your children love one another. Even though it isn't always like this, I continually pray for peace, love, joy and harmony over my children. I am so thankful that their hearts have been knit together- one for another.

We had such a wonderful time watching each little one with their eggs.

I relished in the moments and cherished every second .....

especially watching these chubby, little hands hunt Easter eggs for the very first time .

I have moments of this weekend permanently impressed upon my heart.

And glimpses of their childhood captured from behind my lens.

And a new sense of gratitude today........

I hope you each had a beautiful and blessed Easter weekend also! I took tons of pictures and will be posting parts two and three next.......

Absolutely wonderful. There's just something about Easter isn't there? I mean besides the obvious. Just curious.....how do you keep your kids looking so nice and clean? If my kiddos had a basket full of dyed eggs and chocolate, they would be wearing it in nothin' flat.
We did the traditional Easter egg hunt and we did a little something different with the egg hunt this year, you'll have to check out my blog to apprecaite it, it was fun.

@Raining Pearls~

Thank you so much. I love being behind the camera and truly feel it is a ministry tool. It is my absolute favorite thing to do, other than spending quality time with the babies. :) You are so sweet to always leave me a comment! I am trying to do better with my commenting on other blogs! Thank you so much Nancy!

@ Nonny @ Amanda~
Easter Blessings to each one of you! And YES! He is risen and I am so thankful for that truth......

@Pink Prep~
There is a popular saying here in the south- "This bigger the hair, the closer to God!" since southern women LOVE big hair:) I have changed that saying a little for our family- "The bigger the hair BOW the closer to God." And would like to put it on a bumper sticker on the back of my car....:)

@Susan~

I am stopping by your blog to see what you did with your kiddies! And I have no idea how to keep kids clean! My little ones make messes and we just give them a bath every night and I do my best to keep their faces and clothes clean but they have the best time getting dirty again and I just let them:)

@ Mama Henley, @Maria, @Colleen
@Jennifer and @3 Peanuts~
Thank you so much and the new camera has been loads of fun. I am so grateful and love my subjects very much! I have a lot to learn but they make it so easy to want to take pictures:)

Thank you so much sweet friend!
Yes, the egg hunt was a hoot. The babies just picked up a few eggs and then wanted to sit down and open every single one! B and BG would not stop. I barely snapped any pics of the two of them!
I hope we can do a hunt together next year. Wouldn't that be wonderful? I would just love to photograph our crew together. Love you sweet friend!
