Falling into Autumn

It's here! Oh how I love fall and every, single thing about this magnificent season! Especially the temperature dropping a little, sipping pumpkin spice lattes and waiting for my absolutely favorite type of pumpkin to make her arrival at the local market. Some call her the "Fairytale" pumpkin, others refer to her as the "Cinderella" pumpkin- either way, she is a beauty! I love taking the children pumpkin picking each October, making our way to the apple festivals and fairs, hayrides at the local nursery, drinking cinnamon cider, filling the house with the scents of the season~ caramel candles, mulling spices on the stove, crackling fires, making candy apples and baking homemade pies and other wonderful goodies! What a glorious time of year!

Oh, Sebi. Loving your post. Couldn't help but notice how you changed some of your "signature colors" on your blog to coordinate with the season. You, visual vixen! Miss you bunches. Do you think a "Fresh Market" could hold your family, Kerry's, and mine??? We would pack it out! Needing some lattes & some pumpkin choc. chip muffins right about now. Happy Fall weekend.
Hugs!

Well, we need to work really hard to get our Vols through tomorrow against those annoying Dawgs :) I went to UT and we have had season tickets for over 30 years. When did Hubby play there? Have a great weekend and dress the fam in orange!

My kids get me the necklace last year for Christmas. The salesman at Saks told my PD that the ruby is there because if a ruby touches you it is good luck. Isn't that just the sweetest? My PD is going to be completely surprised because when she told me she would like to have one, she said, "I will treat myself someday with one", and I said, "Why, yes, that would be a good treat!" :)
