The Pearl Event Video ! (finally)

Finally! Here is a small piece of the special night. It is around 17 minutes long and there are about seven different little clips to help give you a feel of the evening. The night itself was about an hour and twenty minutes , so I tried to pick some highlights for you! If you do not have time to watch the full video, skip to the last five or six minutes or so - it is really special. The song that I used is one of my absolute favorites- Your love Oh Lord by Third Day, just in case you wanted to add it to your own collection. It is really, really beautiful!

(Please overlook the fuzzy sound in the beginning. We had to switch out the microphone and the sound gets better! :)

Father,

I praise You. I thank You. I stand in awe of You.

May these 17 minutes and 7 seconds send your word forth into all the corners of the earth and may Your precious women be set free. May those who don't know You, come to know You and may those who don't know how beautiful they are, start to look in the mirror with Your eyes from this moment on. May those Oh Father, who want to end it all, stop and think again, and listen to the words about how they have a Father Who loves them, Who adores them and Who calls them by name. Have your way Father. May You be exalted and highly lifted up by the word of this testimony. Amen and Amen.

Be glorified Lord.

Hey Sibi, what a blessing to hear your sweet voice this morning when I clicked on your blog and watched your video! How I wish my girls and I could have been there in person to hear you speak, but this was a close second. How awesome that day must have been for you and for all those women who attended!! Thanks for reminding us all what a special pearl we are to God and how much He loves us, despite what we might be going through. You have touched many womens' lives through your blog and also when you spoke that night. I hope you will keep this up and reach many more. We never know what an affect we will have on other people's lives. I am a firm believer that Jesus' light shines through us to others around us everyday. On my blog I have the saying: Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read. Sibi, continue to shine for Jesus to those around you, especially your precious children! Praying for you. Love & blessings from NC!

As I watched you, one word came forward over and over ~ Amazing, simply Amazing!

We all have gifts and talents to be shared with others. You have most generously found yours and passed it along to others. I'm certain that you made an enormous impact on many women's lives that night. Oh how I wish I could have been there to receive your pearl of a message. The snow storm kept me away but, one day I know I will receive the wonderful gift of hearing your words in person.

Fondly,
Jo

Hi Sebi! (help, I still don't know the correct spelling of your name...Sebi or Sibi, I'be seen it spelled both ways)

What a beautiful video. Thank you so much for sharing it so those of us that were unable to attend could enjoy and receive the gift of your deep and profound faith.

As I listened, so many different things touched me, but probably the greatest was your comment that God doesn't "do" certain things to us; rather He might "allow" certain things to happen due to our own choices, circumstances, shortcomings, etc. This made such an impact on me.

I have often wondered why I had to be the one "chosen" to struggle with infertility. Didn't I do everything right; practicing Catholic, college-educated, married, etc. But then, my sister shared a similar sentiment as you that changed my outlook forever: perhaps God chose me to bear this burden b/c He knew that I could handle it. That I could share my story with other women; that I have come to learn that my plan is not His plan (a hard pill to swallow) that I had the stregth to persever in building a family, and yet still rejoice in the Lord.

In then end I was blessed with two little miracles; an in vitro baby and then a "bonus" baby sent by God as testimony that all good things come from Him!

Blessings to you, Sebi,
Valerie

Beautiful! I know not everyone has the gift to be able to stand up and speak and your words were so sweet and true. It truly is a gift from God. Oh what beautiful things happen when we follow His path. We are so blessed at the end. I have been studying Paul closely right now in Acts where it is very clear what life is all about:

"So guard yourselves and God's people. Feed and shepherd God's flock-his church, purchased with his own blood- over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as elders."

Acts 20:28

Do you have your testimony written out? I had a little trouble understanding everything on the video (my hearing and my older laptop)
I know your testimony would bless so many women we are ministering to right now.
Bless you. Also, how can I access your other blog?

That. Is. Awesome.....and so are you!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I'm doing really well and so is my sweet Ella. We have been house hunting and I'm hoping I'll have my very own house very, very soon! I can't wait to decorate, and paint and just make it a 'home'.

I have thought of you so often and wondered how you and your family has been doing. I know you stay really busy though with all the little ones! I only have one and she's a handful.

Take care, and thank you for being a blessing to so many.

Hey! I got your sweet words today and I know that we have so much in common. I was floored when I first laid eyes on your blog! I was going crazy to my husband! I'm super excited to see this friendship unfold. Hope the pretty sunshine is bright in your world this week! Watching my Martha and working on some first communion stickers for a little girl tonight. Her mom is doing some cross iced sugar cookies to hand out and wanted a big sticker to stick on the clear treat bags.

Sleep tight and will talk to you soon,

Jennifer

Hi, I was clicking around from other blogs, and I found yours. What an incredible video and how powerful! You are a precious one to share your story with others and to help others see the beauty that the Lord sees. I clicked on your blog because I am a pearl lover, and I was delightfully surprised with this testimony. You are so precious and truly a pearl and a beautiful daughter of the Pearl of Great Price! He is that and so much more. Thank you for not only introducing others to Him, but for reminding me again how much I mean to our Father. It's always nice to hear! :-)

Love to you...

XO,

Sheila
