About this time every year I put myself and my family through this. The Christmas card photo shoot. Oh my! It is loads of fun! But I press in and push through anyway. Mainly because I know how much I will treasure these photos in years to come. Even though it can be stressful, hectic and just plain difficult- I still love taking pictures of my kids. It's not about getting the perfect picture for me, I do love if and when that happens, but more than that I really just want to capture their childhood. I want to document it. I want to remember it and most importantly I want them to remember and cherish it. So for fun I thought I would leave you with some of the many out takes from my attempt last year! I wouldn't trade these pictures for anything. They are priceless to me. Enjoy!
This is always good....

You just make me smile! Thank you for the incredible message that you left lolliandpops.blogspot.com Can't imagine grandparents missing out on an opportunity to love their grandchildren. But as you read in my blog, God's plan didn't "give" me children for a very long time. I was hurt, angry, confused...but His plan is perfect. If "natural" grandparents aren't in the picture, allow someone who has love to give to be a "substitute". You can't imagine what a gift you will be giving them and your children. Don't be a stranger! Merry Christmas.
thank you so much for such an amazingly sweet comment! I LOVED reading it! LOVE your idea and it's something to think about...
